Wrap Up

Is this even a wrap up? | August Wrap Up

Hello beautiful bookworms!

I know I’ve been gone the whole month, but I had very important stuff to take care of. Thankfully I’m back. What I will talk about today is the books I read in August, which were only 2! I feel so ashamed talking about only two books, but they say quality over quantity, right?

Anyway, let’s get into this month’s wrap up!

The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan (The Heroes of Olympus #1)

I loved this book. I thought I was going to be an expert in everything that has to do with the Greeks, but apparently I still had a lot to learn. We meet three new characters that stole my heart almost right away. As expected from Rick Riordan, this book had action, mystery, funny parts, sad moments and lots and lots of adventures. It was a great beginning to a new series!

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan (The Heroes of Olympus #2)

I finished this book a few days ago. If I could give it more than five stars, I would, but honestly I’m being biased because I love and adore Percy Jackson with all my heart. Reading about him once again filled my heart with so much joy. In this installment we meet lots of new characters and gods and much more. As well as with The Lost Hero, this second book takes us to what seems to be an impossible quest, filled with dangers, adventures, making new alliances, funny moments, sad ones and more. Really, I’m super biased when it comes to this series, but you have to read the books to understand it. Also, I love love love this cover!

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well, that’s it for August. Even though I read only two books, they were excellent and I feel happy with them. I hope I can double the books read in September. In the comments tell me how many books you read in August and how many books you plan to read in September. Any other thing you want to say to me, feel free to leave it down below!

Until the next post!

Happy reading 💙
