Series I read in 2019

Hello book lovers!

Something you should know about me is that I was not a huge fan of series. I love falling in love with book characters and fictional places, but reading series was something I tried to avoid because when I finished them, I was left missing everything about the books and so I thought it was better for me to avoid that hole series would leave in me.

However, one of my reading goals for 2019 was to read more series, even if I was left with book hangover or in a reading slump, I wanted to make myself go through that suffering because books are worth it. I even made a list in my journal of  the series I had started but never finished and series that I wanted to start and finish, of course.

I have to confess I made a very big and ambitious list, it was going to be almost impossible to read all the series I listed in one year, however I’m so proud of myself because I managed to read and finish 11 series tho! It might not be a big number for a lot of people, but for someone like me that liked standalones more than series, this is a huge thing!

With all that being said, here are the series I read in 2019. They are in no particular order. I linked the first book of the series to their Goodreads page, in case you’re interested, just click on the title of the series.

  1. I really enjoyed – aka loved – the shadow and bone series. even though not a lot of people tend to enjoy it as much. Caraval trilogy was going to be one of my favs as well, but Finale sadly disappointed me 😦

    1. I don’t know why people don’t like Shadow and Bone, is a very entertaining story. Oh no, it’s so sad when you think a series is going to be one of your favorites but doesn’t 😞
