The Procrastination Book Tag

Hello awesome readers!

I’m bringing to you a tag. It’s been 84 years since I did one lol. Anyway, I was tagged to do this months ago, yes, I know, the shame! But they say it’s better late than never.

I want to thank Kate for tagging me! She is also the creator of this tag, so a big round of applause to her for coming up with this. In her original post, she listed all the type of activities one might do to procrastinate. Along with those activities, there are questions we have to answer. We can either decide to answer all the questions of all the activities, or just the ones we identify with the most. I decided to do the latter.

With nothing more to say, let’s get to the tag!

Oh, but first, the rules!

  • Thank the person who nominated you.
  • Give credit to the original creator of the tag and link back to the original post.
  • Nominate other bloggers whose procrastination preferences you’d like to know.
  • You DO NOT have to wait for a nomination to do this tag. Nominations are optional.
  • Link your post in the Master Linkey so other BookEnders can see it.

So here’s what I normally do to procrastinate and these are my answers to the questions as well.

Watching Netflix. What are some of your favorite reads featuring a celebrity/royalty/someone famous?

I have two books for this question, they are in particular order by the way. The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata and Brooklynaire by Sarina Bowen. Both books are considered sport romances, but they are not that sporty in my opinion.

The Wall of Winnipeg and Me is a super slow burn romance between an American football player and his assistant. It also has the fake-relationship trope, which I like a lot. This was the first book I read by Mariana Zapata and I just loved it. This book was one of my favorites of 2019.

Brooklynaire is about a billionaire owner of a hockey team who is in love with his assistant. This was so cute and steamy and I loved it. I read it a few weeks ago and it is one of my favorite romance books of the year so far.

Losing time on Twitter. Link yourself and share your favorite Twitter accounts that keep you entertained.

Self promo time! I spend almost all my time on Twitter, which is not good because I can’t get much reading done because of it. Anyway, you can find my at readerinvelaris, I talk about books and sometimes a little bit about my personal life.

Now for accounts that keep me entertained… I really don’t know. I just like scrolling through Twitter and get to know people and what they are reading and stuff like that. There are also great memes, I guess that’s what keeps me entertained in the bird app lol.

Reading books. What are some reads that sucked you in so much you had to keep reading?

There are a lot of books that I couldn’t stop reading. To name just a few I’ll say, Descendant of the Crane by Joan He, The Shades of Magic series by V.E. Schwab, The Honey-Don’t List by Christina Lauren, A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer, Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan and the list goes on and on and on.

Scrolling through Bookstagram. What are some accounts that have the prettiest accounts? What are some accounts that always have great recommendations?

I don’t spend as much time as I used to on bookstagram, but some of my favorite accounts are darkest.night.sky, shaked_reads, onetruedaydreamer, margereads, booksgardenvan. Their feeds are so pretty!

Love/Hate relationship with phone. Books featuring your favorite enemies-to-lovers romance.

I love this trope! The ones I can think of at the top of my head are The Hating Game by Sally Thorne, The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren, and From Lukov with Love by Mariana Zapata. I truly enjoyed all of them, they were amazing!

Singing along to music. Do you have any recommendations for musical books/rockstar romances?

I actually don’t have any recommendations for this! I’m just realizing I need to read more musical books since I adore listening to music and sining along, even when I suck at it. But if you have any recommendations for me, let me know in the comments, I’d really appreciate it!

This is the end of the tag. I’m not tagging anyone because I don’t know who to tag lol but if you want to do this, go check Kate’s original post to see the complete list.

Until the next post!

Happy reading đź’™
