TBR

Books to read in March | TBR

Hello everyone!

It feels like it was last week when I shared with y’all my TBR for February. My TBR for this month is super extra short, can it be named a TBR list tho? But there’s a reason why. At the time I’m writing and posting this, I’m reading the Farseer trilogy by Robin Hobb, more specifically I’m reading book 2, Royal Assassin. I am reading this series back to back because otherwise I take like a hundred of years to finish a series.

But also, I’m participating in a 48 hour readathon. This will be the first time I attempt to participate in one that lasts only two days and I already know I’m going to fail, although the most important thing is to have fun! The readathon is the Bookoplathon hosted by Becca, it will take place on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 of March. If this interests you, I suggest you watch her video announcement for all the details and tea! I’m not going to share all the rules with you but one of them is that every twelve hours two prompts are revealed so you can’t set a TBR ahead of time, but in Becca’s video she revealed the first two.

The first one was dark cover. For this prompt I chose We Free the Stars by Hafsah Faizal. It is the second book in the Sands of Arawiya duology.

The second one was fantasy. For this I chose Assassin’s Quest, which is the third and final book in the Farseer trilogy.

Now, I know these books are way too long for me to finish them in less than two days, but I already know I’m going to fail so I’m only trying to fill the prompts for the sake of it, my goal in this short readathon is to read as much as I can. And who knows, maybe by the time this readathon takes place I might be close to finishing Assassin’s Quest so I won’t be a complete loser after all lol.

And that is all for this monthly TBR. I know this might be insulting for how short this is, but the Farseer trilogy is all I think about and all I focus on at the moment! Although, as soon as I finish reading it (if my heart and soul are not completely shattered) I’ll be reading other things I’m looking forward to!

What are you planning on reading in March? Are you participating in any readathon or readalong or something similar?

Until the next post!

Happy reading 💙

  1. Good choices. I’m still attempting to finish the last book on my February TBR – it’ll probably be over by midnight (fingers crossed :3). I haven’t set a march TBR list yet but I did make a 15 book TBR for 2021 (you could check that out on my blog) so I’ll be picking up some from there.
