Wrap Up

Finished two book series | June Wrap Up

Hello everyone!

It is that time of the month once again in which I share with you what books I read in the month. Honestly, this was a very weird and stressful month so I’m surprised I had the mindset to keep reading books.

Before sharing the books I read in June, I just want to say I didn’t read a single book of my TBR lol but where’s the news there, right? Anyway, let’s get to the books I read!

We Hunt the Flame (Sands of Arawiya #1) by Hafsah Faizal

This was a reread because I wanted to read the sequel but didn’t remember much about the story. I loved it as much as the first time. I actually posted the review for this book not so long ago here on the blog.

We Free the Stars (Sands of Arawiya #2) by Hafsah Faizal

I enjoyed this book so much and I suffered as much! I was so afraid for my babies, especially Nasir! I think the solution to the plot was a bit meh, but everything else was so good and I fell in love even more with these characters and world.

Dating You/Hating You by Christina Lauren

I have read other books by Christina Lauren and liked them. I didn’t like as much this one. It simply was not for me. I am still going to be reading more book by them, but this is not a favorite.

Storm and Fury (The Harbinger #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

This is a spin-off series of The Dark Elements trilogy. I have read that one so it was nice to be back in this world. You don’t have to read The Dark Elements trilogy to read this one tho. I liked this story, it was easy and fast to read.

Rage and Ruin (The Harbinger #2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

This second book was good but with this one I realized how slow paced the story was because it is character driven. The ending of this second book was a cliffhanger for me and it left me shook! This was more romance heavy than the previous one.

Grace and Glory (The Harbinger #3) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

This was so filled with love, it was cheesy! I honestly don’t mind cheesy romances but if you don’t like them, then be warned because this was too sweet. This trilogy is fantasy romance with more emphasis on the romance.

That’s it for June. I actually liked June in terms of reading. I didn’t read a new favorite book but these ones were good enough.

Until the next post!

Happy reading 💙
