Hi, my name is Marilu. I’m from Mexico and I love reading. My passion for books began when I was very little due to my mom teaching me how to read when I was like 4 years old. However, I became the avid reader I am today thanks to two books that changed my life forever, Twilight and The Hunger Games. Ever since I read those books, I was not the same.
What I enjoy the most about reading is the opportunity to travel to new worlds no one knew existed. Getting to know people that, even though they are not real, leave a mark in our hearts and stay with us forever. These books have taken me to new places and introducing me to such amazing characters; they are what is commonly known as my favorite books. They are in no particular order.

I never considered myself part of the book community until the beginning of 2019 when I decided to create my bookstagram account. I love the community there and although I like talking about my current reads and my bookish plans there, I decided to create my blog to talk more in depth about my thoughts on the books I read. That’s why this blog is mainly to post reviews of books, but you might be able to find other things such as tags, challenges, wrap ups, and more.
