Hello everyone!
Happy new year! This is the first post of 2022 and I can’t believe it! Anyway, I wish you all the best for this new year. I hope all your dreams and goals come true!
We all know how this works, but in case you don’t, I’m going to tell you about the books I read in December, which were six by the way. It was a pretty cool reading month, if you ask me. However I was expecting to read more books considering I was on vacations, but it’s okay. I had a great time reading all these books.
Hate Notes by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward
This book is available on Kindle Unlimited, if you want to read it for free. I had this book on my TBR for years and I really regret not reading it sooner, it has the grumpy x sunshine trope, as well as the office romance trope. It was funny, cute, and very fast to read. If you want to believe in love again, this book is the answer.
Uprooted by Naomi Novik
This a very interesting story. I liked it a lot, although me being the romance lover that I am, was expecting more romance, but overall the story and characters were entertaining and the story kept me intrigued all the time. If you like fantasy books, I’m sure you will like this one.
The Raven Cycle series by Maggie Stiefvater
I read the whole series in December. I don’t want to talk about each specific book to avoid spoilers so in general, this was a great series. Again, I would have liked more romance, but the story was great just the way it is. I fell for all these characters that when I finished, I had a hole in my heart. Thinking about them again makes me miss them! If you haven’t read this quartet, I recommend it a lot.
